Diamond coated rotary carving burs and diamond drill bits for air powered carving tools. These diamond bits with a 1/16" (1.6mm) shank are used in high speed, air powered tools such as dental handpieces. With a collet adapter they can be used in medium speed power carvers and rotary tools. These bits are most often used for fine detail work in wood carving, stone carving, and egg carving; by artists and sculptors, and as circuit board drills, jeweler's tools, or as lapidary tools. LeBlond bits are machined from surgical quality stainless steel, then coated with diamonds using a proprietary multi-layering process. This means faster, smoother cutting and less heat buildup. The overall length of each bit is 19mm unless noted otherwise. All LeBlond carving tools are made in the USA.
